By creating an account, subscribing to a paid plan, or otherwise using Gridstate, you agree to these terms. Gridstate is operated by Recro LP, trading as Gridstate. Registered address available on request. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Gridstate is a GB regional electricity grid intelligence platform, providing live and historical data on carbon intensity, transmission constraint frequency, generation mix, and balancing costs across GB DNO regions, sourced from NESO, Elexon, and N2EX/APX. Gridstate presents observable system state from named public sources. It does not provide investment, financial, or legal advice, and nothing on the service should be relied upon as such.

Gridstate offers Free, Standard, and Pro tiers, described on the pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe, in advance, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal.

Subscriptions are non-refundable. Cancelling stops future billing; you keep access until the end of the current paid period.

You agree not to: use the service to build a competitive product; attempt to circumvent access controls or scrape data beyond normal use of the service; resell or redistribute the service itself (as opposed to data or reports you've generated for your own use); or use the service unlawfully or in a way that could disrupt it for other users.

Gridstate collects the minimum data needed to operate the service: your email address (for account access and billing), payment details (handled directly by Stripe, not stored by Gridstate), and any information you voluntarily submit via feedback. See our Privacy Policy for full details. The service is provided "as is." While Gridstate aims for accuracy and reasonable availability, it makes no warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation, and you should independently verify any figure before relying on it for a decision of consequence.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law. Subject to that, Gridstate's total liability to you arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid Gridstate in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page or communicated by email to subscribed users.
